Best run of the rod-tip on the long-corner or high from the short rigger, this unweighted lure measuring 12" is best suited to calmer conditions, perfect when needing to liven up the strike where some heavier lures may bog down becoming lazy. This head is a light green pour with large goggle eyes and abalone lam inserts sandwiched around a brass leader tube, skirted in green glitter vinyl and blue and chartreuse Moldcraft Tuff Tails.

Gene Vander Hoek's plunger has never been commercially sold. Made in small batches for himself or his friends, they are extremely rare, now considered a collector's item.
